The nomadic people of the Mongolian steppe live off the land, a simpler life moving from pasture to pasture. I spent a month living among them.

My journey took me across the high Altai mountains in search of the Eagle Hunters of Bayan-Ölgii and deep into the far north, following the Tsataan reindeer herders through snowbound forests. Often dwelling in Yurts, the people of the Steppe move their home’s, families and livestock across the tundra. It’s a harsh world, but joy is found in the simpler things, living freely under the stars, upon the plains.
